.We're ba'aaaack!....

Well actually....we never left. The past few months have been absolutely CRAZY to say the least. Our lives have been on hold waiting anxiously to hear word of Andy's acceptance into the OCS program, finally he was(I'm so proud), then came the kidney stones and the need for a medical waiver so that he could actually still go...Long story short, we will continue to live in Ft. Worth until the Marine Corps. grants us our pass to Virginia! The "projected" date we leave will be sometime in May. Any of you in a Military family know just exactly what it's like to be told you are moving, and then you aren't just yet, and then you are in the next 5 days,etc.....BUT this is my Life and I love it (as maddening as it can be at times) so I won't complain! Sooooo, I get to stay in Ft. Worth for, most likely, 5 months, which I am actually really excited about!

I will begin scheduling shoots in the Fort Worth area beginning JAN 1st!!!!! Don't forget, if you refer a friend you get 10% off your next photo session (:

Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving! We really enjoyed the time we got to spend with family before we leave Texas.
The weather has just not been cooperative lately, it's either really cold and raining or blow the house down windy!!! Luckily, this family had an AWESOME alternative location! Thank you to both of these wonderful families, it was so nice to meet you all. Here's your SNEAK PEAK MC & M (:

I had the pleasure of hanging out with the K Family today..... This was the easiest bunch ever and well, who could go wrong with such a gorgeous group!

I have typed,backspaced,typed,backspaced so many times tonight trying to find the perfect words for this post.....

As many of you know, my husband is in the Marine Corps. and applyed for Officer Candidate School SEVERAL months ago. I am so proud to say he has been accepted pending one last little medical relase!!! This is such an exciting time for my family and we are looking forward to what the future will bring. With that said, sadly, I will be leaving my beloved Fort Worth and friends. I'll be relocating to WYOMING(where my parents live) for a couple of months and then on to join Andy in Quantico,Virginia.
I am really going to miss all of my wonderful friends and clients that I have been so very blessed to meet here in DFW! Thank you to all of you for being so special! If you are ever in Virginia in the next year, call me, we'll do lunch! (:

I will be scheduling sessions until Dec. 10th, so call ASAP if you still need to schedule...with these sessions I will be offering a full resolution CD with your edited photos and a print release so that you can print as many as you want and share by email, blog, etc. as you please! I will no longer be offering prints to my DFW clients as there just isn't enough time left ):

.Fort Worth Greek Festival.

We had so much fun at the Greek Festival this past Saturday!
The lighting in the building was terrible but the kids were so adorable, I had to post these!

Well.......... where did October go? GOOD GRIEF,the month completely flew by!
We had such fun on Halloween, handing out candy, bubbles, and exceptionally ugly monster teeth to the kids in the neighborhood.
This is about as scary as it got around here though.....

Bring on Fall!!

....Okay so it's officially Fall but who would know! I just love the time of year when there is a slight chill in the air and you know that Winter will be here soon. I'm sure people from the North would laugh that once it gets below 80 degrees, I have to dig out all my winter gear, which for this part of Texas consists of a long sleeve shirt and possibly a scarf for cuteness!! Oh, and speaking of scarves, I love them so I could not pass up these I found on sale this past weekend! I had Nokona model for me, she loves it! (;




I'm helping shoot for a Portrait party this weekend. It will be my first so wish me luck..I'll post so you can see how it went! Hope everyone is having a GREAT week!

Isn't she an absolute ray of sunshine?! We had such a fun day playing in the gardens, smelling every flower that we passed, running, skipping, and watching the turtles swim by. I think I've made a friend for life!...Thank you to Little Miss "B" and her parents-what a joy!

Introducing one of the most beautiful babies I've ever laid eyes on (okay, okay, I am a little biased) ...little Miss "B". She just happens to be my niece and oh what fun it was to get some shots of her today! After all the fun, I did have a few major computer difficulties but I think the worst is over now (Thank Goodness for computer genius Mothers!-Thanks MOM!) It put a damper on my much anticipated LONG night of editing, however this was one of my favorites:

I traveled to Frisco for a Photog. workshop, met some wonderful people and learned some things to help enhance my photographs! The photog., Molly of Watermelon photography, was so patient and informative as we all bombarded her with tons of questions(Thanks Molly!)...... We did take some time outside to shoot a few and put our newly acquired skills to use!
